Indigenous Peoples’ Day | A Message from Founder, Brittany

Hi relatives,
It’s Brittany — founder of Cheyanne Symone and proud citizen of the Haliwa-Saponi Tribe.

Today is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and I want to take a moment to honor relatives indigenous to Turtle Island. This day is about recognizing Native American ancestors, culture, and the strength that continues to guide those indigenous to this stolen land. Despite all efforts to erase and assimilate us, Indigenous people are still here — creating, teaching, and thriving — and I’m proud that Cheyanne Symone is part of that history and future.

I started this brand in 2018 with a dream to do business in a good way, reimagining beadwork for modern, elegant comfort without compromise. Today we have sold more than 1,000 earrings and maintained a 5 star customer rating. Every piece we make is stitched one bead at a time by US based Indigenous women and non-binary artisans. Our jewelry carries the beauty, care, and resilience of our people.

To celebrate today, I’m offering 25% off all earrings on cheyannesymone.com.
Use code IPD25 at checkout — valid through Wednesday.

Thank you for supporting my little Native-woman-owned business and helping keep my traditions alive through modern art and design. Your support means the world.

With love,
– Brittany C. Turner
